MUHLENBERG COUNTY SHERIFF

Sheriff William Ward is a 2001 graduate of Muhlenberg North High School and a 2004 graduate of the Department of Criminal Justice Training. Prior to being appointed Sheriff, William served as a Deputy Sheriff, Narcotic Detective assigned to Narcotics Task Force, K-9 Officer, and 2nd shift Sergeant before being promoted to Lieutenant 2nd in command for the Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office. He was elected as Sheriff in November of 2022.  He resides in Bremen with his wife, Lindsay, and son, Graden.
